Chore Chart

Remember these from one of my posts from a million years ago? Well they were for my chore chart, I made it a few months back, then we moved, now were settled in so I can get back into the swing of things. By swing of things I mean Blogging! So later on today I will reveal my whole system and the tutorial for my Chore Chart. I would do it right now, but Church starts in and hour and a half and I still haven't showered :( So enjoy the little taste of my chart!



WALLA! Here it is, there is a system to it, it might look boring now, but it'll change your life! Ok it's not that awesome, but i am proud of it!

My next project.....Boys room!

I have been in such a design rutt lately, ugh! So of course I needed a little bit of potterybarn.com inspiration. I have been at such a crossroads with my boys room lately, Should I do simple and minimal, or go design crazy and add a lot of elements in there room. I have a seperate playroom, so right now there bedroom feels so bare with just beds and a dresser. So I found some cute! things that are super easy to make. Wish me luck, I'll keep posting as the project is slowly coming together!

It's Coming along!

I couldn't help it, I just had to get a post up today, i'm going craft crazy! I haven't done a crafty project besides painting/decorating in so long, I'm so sad that the 4th has already come and gone :( Oh the projects I had in mind. So for now I'll give you teeny tiny peeks of what i've been up to, and what's to come. I did them in Black and White, I don't want to reveal too much! hehe Enjoy





This is my new Chandelier from my SIL, it really looks amazing by my mirror. This pic doesn't do any of this justice, but the final reveal will! Patience (i'm telling myself this)

I have found my dream bed! Now to really find it is the next mission, If anyone ever sees a bed like this, please tell me! I would be forever grateful :)




I also fell in love with this table, would't it make the most beautiful desk in a home office.....I think so.

Well these were my wish list items. After a dredded all day yard sale I cleaned out my house, sold my old table (finally), and made just the right amount to get my oh so coveted pieces. No joke, I dreamed about them, my husband finds that odd. I'm convinced it's totally normal!





My new kitchen table!! After buying my old table 4 years ago, I immediately decided I didn't like the bar height and wished and dreamed about the day I would get a round pedastal table. Yes my old table was in a home where he wasn't appreciated and took a lot of abuse (it was 3 different colors, what can I say, I tried to fall in love with it. No Bueno, So it goes on to a new home, where I'm almost positive the new owner will love and appreciate it, she was stoked to buy it. So here is my one true love, we've only eaten at it about 5 times. I want to savor the prettyness for as long as I can so I ve been making the fam eat at the island where we admire the new table!



Ignore the unvacummed carpet, and the wires, oh and the sub woffer on it's side. Admire the red beauty that holds the Hubby's pride and joy. Isn't she georgeous?!? I'm so lucky to have such a unique and sturdy piece. Don't worry the wires and sub woffer don't have a permanent hiding place yet. The husband has informed me that ALL technical work is to be done by him! Apparantly when I "mess" with it (yes his words hehe) the surround doesn't sound right to him and the pixels or whatever is off. Bla bla bla I try to tell him it couldn't be me because I listen to his rule of Do not touch, hench the mess of wires.
